Pothos

Morphological Characteristics

Pothos is an evergreen vine belonging to the genus Epipremnum in the Araceae family. It has soft and slender stems that can grow prostrate, trail downwards or climb upwards. The leaves are heart-shaped with entire margins, dark green and glossy on the surface. Some varieties have yellow or white variegations (such as Golden Pothos). It stays green all year round and boasts high ornamental value.

Growth Habits

It has tenacious vitality, tolerates shade and drought, and cannot stand direct strong sunlight. It has no strict requirements for soil and can survive both in water and soil. It is an extremely easy-to-care-for indoor foliage plant, perfect for beginner gardeners.

With dense, lush green leaves, pothos symbolizes vitality and tenacity. It also implies air purification and home protection, making it a popular green plant for home decoration.
